About the Lab
Our lab studies the injury and healing of musculoskeletal tissues such as tendon, muscle and bone that serve vital functions in daily activities and sport-related activities. Our primary research interests include the development of non-invasive therapies for the treatment of tendon injuries as well as machine learning approaches to detect skeletal injuries from clinical ultrasound images.
MTS: Mechanical Testing Machine
Experimental testing of the biomechanical properties of skeletal tissues such as tendons of the rotator cuff.
Focused Ultrasound Device for Treatment of Tendon Injury
Ultrasound can be used as therapy to treat tendon injuries non-invasively.
